According to the US Embassy and Consulates in Canada web site, in most circumstances Canadian citizens do not require visitor, business, transit or other visas to enter the United States, either from Canada or from other countries.
There are, however, some exceptions to the above, and visitors should check if these apply to them before leaving home.
Canadian citizens entering the US will be allowed to stay for up to 6 months. However, they should confirm that stays outside their province will not affect their provincial health care plan.
